Pizza Tonight

I thoroughly enjoy cooking and baking with my girls! They each are developing their own strengths. Rosebud would make cookies everyday if she had HER way! lol She picks out different cookbooks at the library each week. Then she goes through them looking for just the right cookie for us to make that week. This week it's chocolate octopus cookies with M&M eyes. Very fun, just like her! Miracle likes being my helper. Whether it be chopping, slicing, grating or mixing, she's ready to help! She loves getting her hands dirty like when she mushes meatloaf or kneads dough. Pillar is mastering baking this year. Not necessarily sweets, although she's really good at that too. But breads, rolls and her delicious pizzas! This is what she fixed us for dinner tonight. YUM!!!

AFTER
I really do love the time we spend together in the kitchen. It's such a great opportunity to talk about what is on their hearts. I treasure the moments everyday.

That sounds wonderful. Looks like you have so much fun at your house. Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the web. It's so nice to meet another single mom homeschooling her children. There is only two of us in my local hs group but I've amazing met a few via the web. One who is also a nurse such as myself. I do contract nursing on the weekends and I homeschool Monday through Thursday. I have babysitters via my mom and my church members if my children are not with their father on certain weekends. I don't mind your asking. I thinks it's so nice to meet you. Wow! 8 years is a long time. I need to ask you the questions. LOL! So how do you work and what curriculum do you use? I've been hsing for 5 years and divorced just this past year.
