Mailboxes and Casseroles

This week we subbed again for our dear friends paper route. However this time the weather was 17 degrees outside! Brrrrrrrr! But I do have to say the sun was out and the wind wasn't blowing so all things considering.....it was great weather! Some of these houses were really decked out for the holidays!
Rosebud really liked this house. It's hard to see in the background but there are little bears all over the Welcome sign. Very cute! And just so you know, the heat was on full blast in the van for Miracle who was leaning out the front window and delivering most of the papers. The girls in the back were VERY hot!! That's why she doesn't have a coat on! lol
It took us a little under 5 hours to deliver all the papers and then we went home to do some more cooking! We made and froze 20 Breakfast Burritos, 2 Farmer's Breakfast Casseroles, and froze up the rest of the ham in individual baggies for omelets later on! Here is our assembly line for the burritos. It's amazing what we can accomplish when we all work together!!
And the two Farmer's Breakfast Casseroles ready to be frozen. It's so nice to have yummy food in the freezer ready to be baked!!
The girls took pictures of the most unique mailboxes too. Just for fun! Here are a few of them.
My personal favorite is Old Glory.
This mailbox reminds me of that obnoxious fish wall hanging/gag gift we received many years ago. I just can't remember the song it sang.....maybe that's a good thing! LOL

We're not sure if Garfield was protecting the mail or what. But the girls thought he looked funny up there!
It was a fun productive day! Yeah!!

The first house with the lawn decorations is is great when lit up at night, you will have to drive by. Rosebud ~ The bears on the rock are very cute and in the summer they are hiding behind a bunch of pretty purple Iris' Molly thinks the fish mailbox is "freaky". lol
