A Good Report!

My goal this weekend is to get caught up on my blogging. We've had a lot going on this past month, so I'm just going to dive in and start! First things first. I must tell you my good report. Today I went to the doctor for my one week post op visit. For those of you who don't know, I had another surgery last week. The procedure went terrific and I was back home with my family same day, no admitting necessary. Yeah!! When I saw my doctor today he said everything looked great! And the best part......a miracle......my right vocal chord is MOVING!!! He said he doesn't know how or why, but it's moving!! I have MRI's, CAT scans, and multiple specialists attesting to the fact that my vocal chords have been paralyzed. BUT GOD! He's so faithful!! It's been 9 months since I first got my trach, and 6 months since I got it taken out. We've had 6 surgeries since then in an effort to create a new permanent airway. Against all odds my voice is stronger, not weaker. I can do more, not less. And now the right side is moving!! He truly is the Great Physician!!!
