I have so much to be thankful for right now. I find myself in awe of His goodness and grace in my life. Every morning before I get out of bed I recount, put myself in remembrance of, a testimony of His goodness in our lives. I make myself remember all the times He's provided for us. All the times He gave me favor. All the times He gave me Mercy!!

Just recently a friend asked if we would allow her family to "adopt" mine for Christmas this year. She asked for a Christmas list for each of us! As I am currently unemployed, this is a HUGE blessing!! I have also received several anonymous gift cards in the mail for Walmart and Gas! God knows our every need and is WELL able to provide for us! I am also grateful for all the yummy homecooked meals that we've received since coming home from the hospital. And I've really enjoyed the wonderful visits to my home as well. A special thank you for the friends who think of me each week as they grocery shop and pick up "deals" for my family. Thank you!!

Just as special to this mama's heart are the words that came from my daughter's hearts this week. God opened a window and let me see what He is doing in them!! We have a friend in a desperate situation right now. Her husband lost his job, they lost their house, she's pregnant and now has cancer. She's walked away from the Lord and my heart is just breaking for her. My girls know everything about the situation and have prayed for this family every day since they heard. And do you know what they pray for? Of all the things they could pray for.....they pray for the new baby's health and they pray for their marriage! For those of you who don't know, my girls have never known the love of a father. My ex-husband left us after the birth of my third daughter. So for them to be so sensitive to this need.....I'm grateful for the work that HE is doing in them!! Although I have never been able to model the marriage relationship for them firsthand, we have The Word of God!! I'm so glad He's not limited!!

And finally tonight when I was tucking in the girls, Rosebud told me that she was so glad that "I" was her mom and not someone else! That I was the perfect mom for her and that she didn't want any other mom! She was glad that God gave her to me! How sweet is that?!?!? She often tells me sweet things, but tonight....I really needed to hear it!

Thank you Lord for reminding me how blessed I am!! I love you!!

Hi there. Thank you for coming by and visiting me! Nice to meet you, too sister! I read 2 posts before commenting. What precious daughters you have!!! And what sweet words from "Rosebud". Heavenly sent, I say...

He is your Husband and He is your daughters' Father. He is our All-in-All. Even better than human husbands and fathers, for His ways are perfect.

I saw your recent incident with the thumb. Few months ago, I accidentally hit my index finger of my right hand with the car's door. I'm also right handed like you. Talking about pain. And being stubborn. I didn't seek medical treatment though I knew I needed stitches! I took care of my own wound! Well-healed now but the scar was visible! I liked the analogy you wrote about being members of one body. When one doesn't represent Christ, the pain caused and the scar would be there forever.

Looking forward to visiting here and you're always welcome to leave your footprints at "off the beaten trek" :) Blessings to you sister. Praying that the Lord will guide you, comfort you, provide for your needs, and give discernment to you, especially to your precious kids. Have a great weekend!

What a beautiful way to see God's hand working in your life and the lives of others. Just the examples your daughters are setting with help others see God and what He has done for all of you.

Praising God for His goodness in meeting the needs of your family! Have a wonderful weekend!
